Ahh Legrande...I believe Japan colonized both parts of Korea, including the south.

The North had the crap bombed out of it by the US and allies in the Korean war in the 50's.

That would be on the North's mind I guess.

And rightly so: South Korea's border was restored and the North ain't launching any invasions now.

My close friend attempted to swim from Akashi to Awaji, in Hyogo. The channel is extremely busy with ships and boats, and there are also very strong currents, which ultimately swept him away to Okayama 9 hours later.

No. I’m against the death penalty. Murder is wrong in every circumstance.

I’ve said this every time the death penalty is discussed and I like to be consistent.

See, and I believe in an "eye for an eye" all the way, you should suffer badly if you murder someone. I am not encouraging vigilantism, but if there is a story of someone giving a person back what they did to them, then that was their karma. it is what it is.

I have opposed the death penalty for more than 50 years. It wasn't given in this case.

Any comment on the Hannibal Directive deaths.

I see this story in the absolute present context, where NOW Israel is demanding Gazans' MOVE AGAIN as they continue the onslaught to drive everyone into the Sinai desert.

What sort of a country promotes stories to the world of "40 beheaded babies " etc.

A shameless one ?

Free Palestine and best wishes to the heroes of the Resistance....more courage than bombing schools from war planes.

Just watched the highlights. Deffo a penalty.

My Father, in contortions insisted its a penalty, I just view an equal play for the ball, a block

Nah, studs showing, leg high, very far from a 'block'. More of a lunge. You have to give that.

I really hope we can give it our all on Sunday and win something for once.

You said you spent a month in jail for a traffic offense.

True

What was the 72 hour one for?

Documentary

Now, you want to go back and focus on the story now? I think the guy should get the death penalty, what say you?

I was just noting that "Japan, Italy and Germany " were the ENEMY in WW2 not so long ago.

How many millions dead from that trio.

OK...I'll give Italy a "hall pass "....I dont think the Italians were ever committed to The Axis .

In tandem with the fighting, Golan said, Israel must "create islands of security" inside Gaza, which are "supported by regional alliances" and will provide Gazans with an alternative to Hamas.

That's something you don't see Hamas offering Gazans!

Sad...politicizing disasters.

Blame shifting wont help anyone or anything.

I honestly agree with that, this shouldn't be politicized. I don't think anyone in Texas wants to hear a Democrat condemnation of the governor when they have done nothing to help, as a resident I can say that, that's just a fact. The left can criticize all they want, Texas is just not going to go Blue, it just won't.

Can I preempt the shills and be the first to say FAKE NEWS .

Actually I believe the account to be accurate.

IDF snipers , if not bent on murder, often go for a "knee shot " knowing it will disable for life.

Will someone remove the rotting moral carcass that is present day......{add the country yourself....I dont want to be "moderated " }

As usual the truth is the reverse:

NATO has become a decisive enabler of Washington's war effort in Ukraine since the 2014 coup and continues to pose an existential threat to Russia and to security of non-aligned countries for much longer in general.

Moscow launched a full-scale strategic counteroffensive in Feb of 2022 in defense against the world’s most aggressive racketeering cartel which had hijacked a piece of strategic real estate with the end game to menace Moscow.

Tanks were rolling in only one direction in Feb of 2022. This is clear to anyone with eyes and a brain. Still Putin's War.

The Atlanticists want China to play the little errand boy role and help them out on Ukraine. But the truth is Beijing would be the next victim of NATO because they are next in the firing line; they under the truth of the above and the weasel words coming out of the west.

From the non-existent Pacific NATO?

Western hegemony is what is at stake here - meaning the US with the other as willing supplicants - and those Atlanticists will never allow or treat another country/continent, China, India or whoever as equals; they are determined to preserve their unipolar neo-colonialist power as the world transitions to multi-polar fairness.

Russia's not a pole. At least one that is still upright.

Typical MAGA-Gov buck passing....

The left can't talk.

Abbott has had three years to better prepare Texas' electrical infrastructure since the last disaster he failed at - you know, the one where Ted Cruz went MIA in Cancun...

That the Democrats pushed him and the Republicans into believing that Chinese renewable turbines were the best solution? It didn't work out so well

But as we've seen, Red State Govs prefer the useless culture wars to bamboozle the MAGA-masses as opposed to actual competent governing...

Seems like half the country agrees with them, and again, the left can't make any comments on competent governing when Democrats ruined two of the largest states in the union

There's no excuse this time - Abbott has plenty of time to fix this - and he didn't - the blame all falls on him and his bumbling administration...

You are right for once, that is true, if Abbott hadn't been doing the Fed's job at sealing down his border, he would have had time to fix this situation.

Texans deserve better...

Now the left cares about Texas??? 3 and a half years too late for that.

They told police the bikes are popular and sell for high prices in Vietnam, and that the prevalence of parked bicycles in Japan made them easy to steal.

I can count 10 to 15 criminals I met while working for the Immigration that came to Japan exactly with this intent, to pile up as much as they could and go home to count the money. Rinse, repeat.

But vietnamese crime has been out of control these days... from crops to bikes and even copper. I predict things changing in the future.
