Very sad.

This crime is as heinous as you'll find anywhere. The evil scum needs to hang promptly once he is found guilty. The terror this mother and her kids went through at the hands of this man is unthinkable.

Rest in Peace to the poor mother and her three little children- now all together and forever free from this monster.

Life in prison is much more of a punishment than a quick death. Children though. diobrando is right. To harm any child is beyond heinous. Killing his wife, too, is evil, but. . .children. Let him rot in prison remembering. . .remembering. . .remembering.

He'll hang for sure. But it's very sad, I think this might have been preventable with a better work-life balance within that family. Probably the man was never at home and the wife simply couldn't manage everything alone, leading to this conflict and conclusion.

There are many families around the world living in this same scenario but to connect it to the conclusion of killing your wife and children is inaccurate to say the least. This is an extremely rare outcome and takes someone with deep rooted psychological issues to carry out.

I could never understand why someone kills children. It is pure evil, just the same as his ex’s actions destroying their lives for selfishness.

if the divorce laws aren’t blind and deaf ignoring pretty much everything, it might not have happened. In Japanese laws, regardless of what women do and how their personality are, they would get half of the money and the children. That is no matter what the situation is. So i expect we will keep reading similar horror news once in a while.

For some reason it is quite common here in Japan to have a wife who belittles her husband. Many women here tend to be subservient at the workplace or in public. But at home they can be domineering.

That said, what he did is reprehensible. I can't imagine having that much anger directed at someone, especially children.

He will eventually hang. Rightfully so.

Paying every day for him being in prison is not needed. No redemption. Hanging such a man is a requirement.

Killing his children for his own failure is forever inexcusable.

Since he did these murders all at once does this make him not a serial killer and, hence, lighten his sentence. Japanese prisons are no joke and even murderers deserve better. This is very sad on every level.
