Trump barely answered any questions (he never even touched “how would you implement your giant deportation plan”, for example) and instead of pointing that out with like, “as you can see Jake, he didn’t answer your question, because he can’t”, he just replayed “malarkey” and repeated it in varying forms. Or he could have pointed out that Trump was praising himself for “sending abortion laws to the states”, but then whining that states aren’t doing what he wants, so he wants to enact federal laws (not to mention the lies of “they kill babies after birth”, which is just so egregious that it beggars belief), but he just let Trump ramble and responded only to the most surface level things.
