Vance himself compared Trump to Hitler.
He also said how he got Trump wrong, first time impressions from not knowing the guy, but as he states he was so so wrong about the man and came around. We all evolve especially politically and good on him. Love the guy.

Vance is canny but his calculated MAGA turn may not convince that many. But in this day and age?

Pretty much.

Vance is someone who came from humble beginnings and rose up a level by the power of his pen but betrayed his Appalachian roots and working class people there to ascend to the much higher levels by becoming a mouthpiece for authoritarian conservatism and private equity acquisitiveness.
He absolutely did not betray his community or disavow his humble beginnings. Not sure where libs get that nonsense from.
Similar to Bannon he is articulate, shameless, motivated and dangerous and would be quite the piece in a Trump agenda like a Goebbels.
Unlike Goebbels who killed people, why is it the left has to use the most extreme people who have no relation or bearing to the topic. But Bannon is formidable and that is what so many of us like about the guy, he is pushing for his American first agenda and I can't fault the guy for that. Any person that is passionate about putting American front and center has got my ear, respect and attention.
so it may be he tacks back to his fake promises to the working class like in 2016 as a strategy.
Nothing fake, but I do think so, this time he won't have Pelosi, Schumer or even Mitch to throw a monkey wrench into his plans to fix this country.

Both Ukraine and NATO. I hope that we can leave the organization one day and soon.
That's not the same as withdrawing from NATO, but even for Ukraine aid, not too many Republicans are as eager to grab their ankles as you are.
Trust me, if you want to call me or any other American first conservative a coward, I can sleep very well, so....

So if the Republicans retake the Senate and it looks like that could be a real possibility, they would pull back or limit aid.

Remember, this Fuehrer kissed up to Kimmy boy.
He tried, you have to like the guy, but maybe what we have been doing for 50 years just hasn’t quite worked out, so what’s wrong with trying something different? Don’t have to like the person, but if both sides can come up with a lasting solution that can keep the peace, why not try, especially if it can prevent an unnecessary war.
And you can't believe anything trump says.
Then you must hate this administration because they win the prize in that regard.
Anybody who supports, endorses or even believes the lies this uncivilized sexually deviant criminal traitor says is weak.
72 million and growing are weak? uh, ok, I can live with that.
No hope for them.

Trump has displayed a tendency to worship our enemies and hurt our allies during his 2016-2020 term throwing our alliances formed and in place for 80 years into turmoil.
I think he wants to reach a mutual understanding that each country is doing what they need to do for their best interest. Most Americans don’t want to die for other nations particularly if we don’t have a clear objective or a strong military leadership.
There is nothing to indicate that his policies would be any different if he becomes potus again.
He’ll probably double-down on them.
The world today in 2024 is in a global crisis that requires a US leader with a sound mind,
That is why he is leading in the polls
not convicted felon with chronic lying disorder.
If we focus on that then we can’t vote for anyone and o mean, anyone. The main thing that people want is an American first president and not a globalist one.

But Trump is a convicted felon - 34 counts. Only a crazy person would vote for a convicted felon. And that's just the beginning. His lawyers have been delaying all the other trials for years now. If he wasn't guilty, he'd want his months in court to be handled and over - though I doubt he won't get jail time - he seems to believe it.
I think the Dems should just give that one up, no one is listening anymore, in fact, Trump numbers have been moving up slightly, nowhere near down. If I were a Democrat especially one working in this administration, I would waste less time focusing obsessively about Trump and worrying how to keep my base from bailing on me. That ship sailed a long time ago. I’ll say it again, liberals should listen to one of the smartest liberals around: James Carville and stop putting your eggs in one basket.

Thankfully Congress has ensured that the know-nothings don't have that as an option.
Thankfully most of the establishment in the House are gone, so it makes Trump’s mission a lot easier and even more so if they can retake the Senate back, these RINO’s continue to lose. The future looks bright.

One thing they definitely will talk about behind closed doors is this:
NATO's air defense equipment in Kyiv and in places around the country suffered an embarrassing failure over the last few days. Russian air units got the better of them, inflicted huge losses on western supplied systems and other targets, with their own missiles going errant.
Complete disaster

NATO is a defensive alliance, and if so, defend yourself, they will soon come for you. And if NATO is a military alliance, then you are expected to take decisive steps that would put you in an awkward position. So it’s better to end your existence yourself in the name of peace and tranquility on earth. Trump knows what he's doing, Biden go on vacation

A major disappointment for the MAGA RN supporters who had expected a significant victory in the election, disregarding the RN's history of racism and anti-semitism. Selected viewpoint.
There is always a next time and there will be a next time, so time is on their side.
The hard core of the far right are easily led,
Seems that is what the leftist globalists have done and they did an excellent job at it.

Sounds quite intelligent. Far smarter than losing and believing crackpot conspiracy theories about stolen elections.
Turned out not to be as liberals claimed it to have been. The potion of indoctrination wore off.
On the ‘election engineering’ point, not the first time this has happened in Europe.
Won’t be the last at this rate.
As I’ve posted before, in 2019 rightwing elite populist Nigel Farage did a deal with the fellow his fellow elitist Boris Johnson which saw Farage stand down his candidates. This ‘engineered’ a large majority for the populist Johnson.
Rich, populist elites, eh? Wouldn’t trust them as far as I could throw them.
