One thing these developing countries good are their tricks.

Nepal Government deliberately asked the Sherpa team to pile up the garbages so that they can get the massive fund from the foreigners which will obviously be pocketed for their private life.

Posted in: 'Seven Samurai' at 70: Kurosawa's epic still moves like nothing else See in context

Honestly, there are better Japanese films than Seven Samurai but to each their own.

Some films of Shohei Imamura.

And The Human Condition Trilogy will always remain the top of the Japanese Cinema.

Is it money or their obsession? Were these people forced to do for the business or they simply wanted to have fun?

The punishment for such crime should be harsh but still it won't prevent them from doing it so, example voyeurism in South Korea. You better stay away from the public toilets.

Posted in: Do you think school teachers in Japan are overworked? See in context

Working long hours does not mean hard work.

Better to employ unemployed job seekers so that they can feed their family rather than the employed staff getting too much overtime/extra shifts.

At my work, two staff does 28 days a month whereas other staff do about 18-20 days a month. Now if the company hired another staff so that everyone can do about 18-20 days, that is much much better.

Posted in: Japan nursing care bankruptcies hit record high for Jan.-June period See in context

That's what I have been saying, Welcome more low skilled workers than skilled workers.

There won't be any shortage for low paid jobs such as nursing, cleaners, security whereas foreign skilled workers will take/look for more better/high paid jobs that would have been given to own nationals.

Britain will also have same problem.

A nurse getting £27 a hour whereas a caretaker gets £12 a hour. That is just unfair. A caretaker is the one who cares the patient like taking care of their own children for 12 hours a day, 6 days a week.

Posted in: Chinese woman who tried to save Japanese family in knife attack dies See in context

Indeed a very brave woman. We should honor and respect a person like her.

But is raising the flag lower enough that what will it even do? What about reasonable value of compensation to her family for life?

No trash bins = Japanese streets cleaner

Trash bins = London, NY, Paris (dirty streets)

So why the complain by foreigners? Doesn't make sense.

And the only tourist who don't mind spending from their pockets are Chinese.

Rest of the tourists are like those on the Amazing Race.
