In this free online workshop, we will study the latest examples of anime and put those techniques into practice. Takuya Kurita / Japan Animation Association (JAA)
Born in Tokyo in 1967. During enrollment at Waseda University, won the newcomer award at Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. Made a commercial debut at the age of 21. Since then, has published works in Kodansha’s series of boys’ manga. Representative works include ‘FURLONG!’ and ‘Kai’. Conducted manga drawing workshops in four countries in Central and South America at the request of the Japan Foundation. Currently oversees the character design department at the Anime Artist Academy.
