An honest movie.

Looking forward to finally seeing it in the way it was intended.

Should be required watching here.

I started watching Oppenheimer today and it is going to take at least two weeks to watch it. Only watched about 10 minutes. Can't tell what is going on yet.

I have difficulty sitting Infront of a TV for long periods unless I am watching sports!

It took me 3 days to get through it. It's good, not great IMO.

The article fails to mention that Studio Ghibli's The Boy And The Heron won the BAFTA for the best animated feature.

And we still can’t see it in Japan.

"Oppenheimer" will open in cinemas in Japan on March 29.

So sad that Japan is unwilling to show a historical film like Oppenheimer. I really wanted to see it.

You can also see it on Amazon Prime but must use a VPN.

The historic significance for Japan is inescapable, brought about the devastating conclusion to a world war.

Also, a bleak future for humanity,

Sorry, I found 'Oppenheimer',  Christopher Nolan propensity for his actors to mumble infuriating.

3 hours?

Leave that for a DVD extended special.

Unless it's for a homework assignment or something, you might as well watch something else if it's going to be a two-week slog to finish it.

And we still can’t see it in Japan

Really? Was it previously banned in Japan when it came out last year? It was a brilliantly done film with a stellar cast. I'm completely unsurprised that it was a big winner at the BAFTAs.

I also found "Oppenheimer" to be too long and too boring.

Too long and boring..

And romanticize one of the biggest war crimes in history..

NO THANKS..

Cillian Murphy's role in Oppenheimer is weak compare to the one he got in 28 days. I could see in that movie that even being young, he was a fantastic actor.

Lately the British Academy Film Awards have become much more congruent with what cinema fans consider of good quality, maybe the Oscars should give a look and see how they are being done and the kind of reception they get, there is a lot of room for improvement.

Don't know if you have Peacock in Japan.

It is streaming there and that's where I am watching it in USA.

I have Bose surround sound system in my Living room, 3 front speakers and two at the back. The sound is amazing. Very clear and loud.

Long and boring....may get around to it after reading War and Peace forwards and backwards

Barbie, unsurprisingly, won nothing, Yet it still had to be mentioned in the article. Oppenheimer was about men. Apologies.
